China Is One of the World's Most Advanced Tech Labs. We're Going Inside.
This isn't a sightseeing trip. It's a front-row seat to the world's most ambitious tech ecosystem — where cutting-edge technology has become everyday infrastructure.
Your teenager will ride in robotaxis, program humanoid robots, visit smart factories, watch brain-computer interface demos, and hear from young founders who are building the future. Every day has a theme. Every experience is hands-on.
And they'll do it all alongside international peers, guided by trip leads with deep roots in China's tech industry.
Middle and high schoolers (ages 10–18) excited by robotics, AI, autonomy, and advanced manufacturing.
A parent, guardian, or authorized adult chaperone accompanies each minor. One adult may chaperone up to three minors.
Hotel accommodations, group meals, all ground transport, curated visits, workshops, and facilitated sessions.
International flights, visas, travel insurance, personal spending, and optional evening excursions.
7 Days. 6 Themes. Zero Filler.
Every day is built around a frontier tech theme — with real visits, real workshops, and real conversations with people building the future.
Young founders, builders, and early-career engineers share what they're building — and what skills are most valuable right now.
Peer mixers, tech-spotting walks, and optional cultural activities woven throughout the week.

FAQ
Is Mandarin ability required or recommended?
No. Mandarin proficiency is neither required nor recommended. All core programming will be in English communication, or bilingual and interpreted as needed.
Do you recommend carrying translation devices?
It is up to you. There are quite many translation devices available for real-time translation, including earbuds, headsets, glasses, and watches. Some notable brand options include Anker Soundcore, Timekettle, and iTourTranslator. Please note that these are friendly suggestions only. We do not endorse any specific brand or model and assume no liability for any issues regarding these devices.
Do participants need a Chinese visa?
Yes — each participant must obtain their own valid passport and Chinese tourist visa. We recommend starting the process at least 6–8 weeks before departure. Processing times vary by nationality.
Can we get vegetarian food in China?
Yes, vegetarian food is readily available in China. Vegetarians can typically enjoy Chinese vegetarian dishes if they confirm the absence of pork ingredients with waiters or chefs in most Chinese restaurants. In addition, in major cities like Beijing and Shanghai, dedicated vegan restaurants and Indian restaurants are also available.
What age range is this designed for?
Ages 10–18 at the time of the program. Built for middle and high schoolers who are genuinely curious about technology and how the future is being built — no prior technical background required.
Are chaperones required?
Yes — every minor participant must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult chaperone for the full duration of the program. One adult can accompany up to three minors. Chaperones participate in all program activities alongside the students.
Will my child connect with peers their age?
Yes — this is a small cohort of curious, motivated students from international backgrounds, all ages 10–18. The schedule includes structured evening peer mixers and a youth exchange with local Beijing students. The group dynamic and friendships formed are often a trip highlight.
What happens if the itinerary changes?
The itinerary is carefully planned but not guaranteed — site access depends on availability. If a visit changes, we substitute something of equal or greater value. Itinerary changes do not affect pricing.
In the evenings, after what time would we generally get free time?
Generally from around 4–5 PM onwards. The scheduled program typically wraps up in the late afternoon, after which participants have free time for rest, personal exploration, or optional group activities.
Is travel insurance required?
Yes — comprehensive travel, medical, and medical evacuation coverage is required for all participants. This is your responsibility to arrange before departure. We strongly recommend purchasing it as soon as you register.
Why is this called a "pilot cohort"?
This is our inaugural program for minors (under 18). We've designed it with care, but we're being transparent: it's a first run. Our founding participants are trusting us, and we take that seriously. Pricing for future programs will be determined separately.
What are the key payment deadlines?
A $500 deposit per person locks your spot. Early bird rates require deposit by April 25, 2026. Full remaining balance is due by your cohort's payment deadline (see cohort dates). No payment is collected through the form — we invoice you after confirming your spot.
What is the refund policy?
The $500 deposit per person is refundable within 7 days of payment (minus transaction fees). Cancellations before your cohort's cancellation deadline receive 50% back on amounts paid beyond the deposit. No refunds after the deadline. See cohort dates for specifics.
Can someone else pay for the trip (e.g. a grandparent)?
Yes! We offer a gift option during registration. A grandparent, relative, or family friend can be listed as the payer — they'll receive all invoices and payment correspondence, while the primary adult chaperone manages trip logistics and communication.
What if none of the current dates work?
